LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival of award-winning short films by, for and about women. Great fun for movie geeks from all walks of life, this festival presents nine films by women directors, for one very affordable ticket price.This one time showing in Lawrence, at Liberty Hall, April 22nd at 4PM, will be hosted by the GaDuGi Safecenter.
This season, our program filled with stories of reflection, hope and humor will travel to over 150 cities worldwide. Each year, various organizations bring LUNAFEST to their communities and raise funds for their local non-profits, as well as our main beneficiary the Breast Cancer Fund.
