Johnny's Tavern is a Lawrence destination spot for locals, students and tourists. Serving up tradition since 1953, we are proud to be the "Longest Runnin' Tap in Town". Johnny's is "Lawrence's Other Famous Institution" and has lots of history and memorabilia on our 100 year old walls to prove it! Johnny's has the best burgers and thin crust, New York style pizza around. You can grab a slice and a cold one or get a pie to go. Our friendly staff is serving up daily blue plate specials, and lots of comforting bar food, making sure you always leave happy. Come to Cajun Night the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays every month. Live music starts at 6 p.m. You'll eat mouthwatering Cajun dishes, shrimp and crayfish cooked up by 'Cajun Carl' himself. The nightlife at Johnny's is always lively with students, suits, shirts and jerseys all rockin' together until the wee hours. It is a place to see and be seen.
